Volunteer

Volunteers are critical to running the Cleveland Asian Festival, come have a great time being a part of the backstage fun! Registration for the 2024 Cleveland Asian Festival is open until May 11th. All volunteers who signed-up by late April have their names included in this year’s program!

**Volunteers or festival ambassadors are not affilliated with any vendors, exhibitors, or sponsors. If you are simply volunteering at the festival with another organization you do not need to fill our volunteer form.

Why should you be part of the Cleveland Asian Festival? 
Last year’s 14th annual Cleveland Asian Festival brought in over 40,000 attendees! Our volunteers were instrumental to this success and contributed in tons of awesome ways. All volunteers receive some perks (listed below) for their help!

Volunteer Orientations. Our mandatory orientations help volunteers learn the roles and organization of the Cleveland Asian Festival. Similar to past years, we will be holding two orientation sessions virtually and one in-person at Asia Town Plaza. First-time volunteers MUST attend the in-person session on Saturday to become familiar with festival grounds. These orientations will take place:

  • Friday, May 10th, 2024 – 6:30-8PM EST via Zoom
  • Saturday, May 11th, 2024 – 3-4:30PM EST at Li Wah, 2999 Payne Ave #102, Cleveland, OH, 44114
  • Monday, May 13th, 2024 – 6:30-8PM EST via Zoom

Benefits of Volunteering. We appreciate all the time and effort our volunteers put into making the Cleveland Asian Festival an amazing experience. In order to be recognized for this contribution to the festival, volunteers will receive the following:

  • Official Cleveland Asian Festival volunteer t-shirt (while supplies last)
  • Two $5 dollar food voucher for every 4 hours of volunteering
  • Exclusive Invitation to Volunteer Recognition Dinner + Raffle Prizes on June 9th
  • 1 raffle ticket for every 2 hours of volunteering OR for every 15 completed paper surveys obtained
  • Water and snacks during volunteer shift
  • The joy of serving others 🙂
